Ninh Bình is a province of Vietnam, in the Red River Delta region of the northern part of the country.

Closer to Hanoi than Halong Bay, yet just as breathtaking, this up-and-coming destination offers surreal limestone karats and tranquil boat rides. Approximately 90 minute car drive from Hanoi. With its otherworldly landscape of massive limestone karats, and its location away from Vietnam’s coast, Ninh Binh is sometimes dubbed “Halong Bay on land.” Like the famed UNESCO World Heritage site three hours east of Hanoi, the destination is best viewed by boat. But in Ninh Binh’s case, instead of an emerald sea at the base of its cliff faces, a network of tributaries from the Hoang Long river wraps around and siphons through the towering stone formations. Ninh Binh is Vietnam’s ancient royal capital, with much of its building credited to King Le Dai Hanh of the tenth century dynasty.

Sample Daily Schedule:

7:00 – 8:30 am: Yoga & Expressive Dancing

8:30 – 9:30am: Breakfast

9:30am: Consciousness Workshops

1:30pm Free Time and lunch: Soak up the energy, enjoy a leisurely hike, have blissful massages and take some time out to reflect, rest and recharge.

5:00 – 6:30pm: Based on Ashtanga or Vinyasa Flow Yoga

Included Excursion A 3 hour tour to Van Long Natural Reserve. Tour includes – cycling, boat trip, entrance fees and guide. Van Long Nature Reserve is known as the “Preserved Nature Area” of Ninh Binh, it offers wonderful views of landscapes and rural life. Compared to Tam Coc – the used-to favorite site, Van Long is much more primitive and completely untouched. River, mountains, grottos, rice paddies, old houses, friendly locals, tiny-bamboo boat riding, ect., all contribute to make Van Long a must-see for the connoisseurs of traveling. Tourists who come to admire the reserve will have the opportunity to view rich flora and fauna within the most bio-diversified wetland in Vietnam, according to research by national and international scientists
